I have a soft spot for Isometric games! My childhood was spent playing games such as Batman, The Last Ninja, Desert Strike and Rock n’ Roll Racing to name a few. Of course, there are more modern examples of games using this viewpoint, but seeing isometric games always takes me back to a simpler time […]
Video games are amazing, they can open up worlds and allow you to do things that you couldn’t normally do. Want to race a Formula 1 car? How about pilot a 747 across the Atlantic? You can even battle aliens in outer space should you so wish. They also allow you to do things that […]

Marine life, and the conservation of it, has always fascinated me since I first watched (and absolutely loved) Marine Boy as a child. Hence it was an absolute pleasure to watch and review the documentaries Blue and Sharkwater Extinction last year for our website. So when a PS4 review code of Beyond Blue was kindly emailed […]

Alien StormPlatform: ArcadeReleased: 1990Publisher: SegaDeveloper: SegaIn the late 80s and earlier 90’s, Sega could do no wrong in my eyes. They would release hit after hit, including two of my all-time favourite games, Golden Axe and Streets of Rage 2. Sega generally followed a similar pattern with their games. For example, Shinobi is like ESWAT. […]
Having previously played (and enjoyed) Mud Runner, it was with great anticipation that I jumped into the world of its successor: Snow Runner. Set across 3 locations: Michigan, Alaska and Taymyr, it gives you an open world to explore, while building up a collection of vehicles and accessories to help complete a variety of tasks […]
