There’s some great action scenes, which includes Seagal doing quite a few of his own stunts, as well as a good smattering of humour throughout.

I enjoyed Eli Roth’s Ice Cream Man more than I did Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day.

There, I’ve said it.

While not as gory (or as good?) as some of the later Friday the 13th movies, this is still a classic within the horror genre.

From watching it literally dozens of times on VHS, to now having this 4K UHD Blu-ray release by Toy Robot Video is an absolute treat…no tricks thankfully.

Sumptuous to look at, and also a really good story.

It’s lost none of its fun or charm, and seeing it in glorious 4K is a treat, almost as much of a treat as seeing Steve Martin as a .. demonic biker dentist.

The violence and gore have been ramped up, especially in the included unrated version, but thankfully the movie contains characters that you can have some empathy for.

While it is definitely not a top tier film, it’s worth watching for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet.

With shades of Dawn of the Dead (trapped in a huge space with shops), REC (the outside world are aware of what is happening) and a horror twist on Pluribus, Colony certainly has enough about it to keep you entertained.
