Review: Lack of Afro – Bad Ass Self
Good things are coming our way from producer/multi-instrumentalist Adam Gibbons (Lack of Afro). BBC6 Music recently previewed “You Could Do Better” a slow soul burner (featuring Camila Recchio and Wax). Now he’s upped the tempo and dropped ‘Bad Ass Self’ as a new single.
“I think Kennzo got his groove back”. New York rapper Kennzo slaps a rough, tough groove which never skips a beat as he confidently smacks the vocals down. On this showing I can’t see him losing his groove in the first place. Apparently Adam’s got plenty more guests lined up for the forthcoming album ‘I’m Here Now’ and on this showing, it’s going to be fun meeting them.
