Review: Life in Colour
Blu-ray, DVD & Download-to-own: Life in Colour (2021)
Anything with David Attenborough in is going to be informative, emotional, and visually stunning. At least that’s the opinion I’ve held for a long time now, and it certainly didn’t change after watching Life in Colour.
David once again travels to an eclectic mix of places around the globe, this time highlighting how the natural world is full of colour; some of which are visible to the naked human eye, and others which are now only visible to us via new camera technologies…some developed especially for this series.
Informative and interesting commentary by David’s dulcet voice soothes the ears, while stunning camera work and a close up look at a variety of life that you’d never normally see keeps your eyes transfixed to the screen and the wonderful array of colours laid out before you.
The natural world is far more interesting and beautiful than anything else, and it is programmes such as this that highlight why we should be taking more notice (and care) of it, rather than spending hours every day exploring the online world which has now become such a part of peoples lives and time.
Watch this and see how much beauty there is in the world, then go out and look around you to see the colours that are everywhere…none of them requiring filters to look good too.
I treasure every appearance by David Attenborough, and this is yet another of his journeys to keep and watch…and relax to.
