Road To Eden follows Dare’s critically acclaimed albums Sacred Ground (2016) and Out Of The Silence 2 (2018). Both albums reached Number #1 in the Amazon Classic Rock Charts in four countries including the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Dare entered the top #5 in the Official UK Rock Chart, number #6 in the U.S. Amazon Classic Rock Charts and Number #1 in Japanese rock imports.
Road To Eden is destined to be another modern DARE classic. Produced by their lead singer songwriter Darren Wharton (ex-Thin Lizzy) at his studio the majestic mountains of North Wales. The new album has a harder rock edge than previous albums, whilst still retaining the atmospheric sound, and anthemic melodies that has become the band’s signature trademark.
Road To Eden features ten brand new beautifully crafted songs that captures the very heart of DARE. With a full headline UK tour set for the UK in October 2022, plus dates in Spain, Scandinavia, and Germany, it’s going to be an exciting year for the band.
“We wanted to write an album that translated well to live performance,” says Darren. “Road To Eden has some great anthems, energy and power. We can’t wait to play the new songs live.”
With previous DARE albums now having well over 4 million streams on Spotify, it’s clear that for the growing army of DARE fans, the wait is nearly over, as they prepare to join DARE on The Road To Eden.

ALBUM TRACK BY TRACK
BORN IN THE STORM
It’s that moment when someone discovers their passion for music. That spark, that inspiration inside that drives you on, and makes us hope and dream. Music can lead us through dark times, through the storms of life we all sometimes face. In this crazy world we all live in, for many of us, music is our escape. It takes us to a place where the spirit resides. Out of the chaos a feeling is born. “Where lost Angel’s sing, in the night I can hear them call.”
CRADLE TO THE GRAVE
From the moment a child is born, we cherish, protect, and love them unconditionally with all our hearts. We worry, we stress, we support them in any way we can. We would die for our children. Once, we were children, and losing a parent is never easy. The circle of life goes on. They have cherished, they have cared, loved, and given everything so that we can all be here today. “So, I’ll thank you for the days, and all the love you gave, from the Cradle to The Grave.”
FIRE NEVER FADES
“Was a long time ago when I was young, my father said, ‘Listen my son. Father to son’.” One man’s story, a message passed down from Father to sons and daughters. We hold those words in our hearts. It reminds us of who we are inside. We hear the words when we face hardship, struggle and sometimes, just when we think all is lost, we find the strength to carry on, we remember the words.
ROAD TO EDEN
Life is a journey. Everyone travels that road. We all have our own personal Eden in our hearts, that special dream, that place in life, where we hope someday our journey will take us. We strive. We endure. Road to Eden is everyone’s story. A hope that someday, somehow, somewhere we’ll reach that moment in life. The light at the end of the tunnel, Solace, peace, and love. “This heavy load is leaving my heart, and we’ll make it I swear, we’re on The Road to Eden.”
LOVERS AND FRIENDS
To find love, they say is the greatest thing we can ever learn. Find love and friendship, a soul mate, a partner in life, and we are truly blessed. If you can, hold on to what you both have found, never let go.
ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG
When we think our heroes, the legends we’ve lost. Phil Lynott, Lennon, Hendricks, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Freddie, Gary Moore, we do ask ourselves why? Our soldiers who give everything so that we can be safe. Maybe a friend we grew with, we ask why? It never makes sense, and it never seems fair. All we can do is celebrate what they gave us and thank them for the memories.
GRACE
It’s a train romance. A memory of a meeting. A brief experience that will stay in your heart. A love that could never be. For a moment you experienced beautiful grace.
I ALWAYS WILL
A realisation. A place. A word A smile. It’s the wind blowing across the mountain. Maybe a song we hear sometimes takes you back to a time. Memories of friends we’ve known, lost, or just don’t see anymore. At that moment we may realise we miss those people. No matter how we try to dismiss those feelings, put them to the back of our minds, you can’t help but feel regret that friendship has gone. “In my heart there’s a place, no time can erase. I miss you then, I miss you still, I always will.”
THE DEVIL RIDES TONIGHT
“She could hear the rain fall from heaven. She closed the door and stepped into the night.” Sometimes, we feel trapped and sometimes relationships die. Cinders of affection and of faded love are all that remain. We all know this is a part of life. Do we carry on? Or do we try and break free? Jealousy, anger, are powerful emotions. Who knows what another human being is capable of? “She was free like the wind, but the devil rides tonight.”
THY KINGDOM COME
When we are young, we dream. Nothing is impossible and our future is unwritten. The world is an exciting place. Youth is a wonderful thing. As we grow older, we soon realise life isn’t the roller coaster we once thought it was. One by one the sad facts of life strip away the magic of youth. Our sons and daughters sent to war. Some never return. “When I was young, I use to dream, lying in the fields of green. But in my hand, they placed a gun, against my brother and his son.”
