Help to keep us online in 2021
At the beginning of January 2020 I set a goal on our Ko-Fi page that would cover the costs for keeping our podcast and website online throughout the year.
Thanks to all of you, before the end of that month the target was met and we went on to have our busiest year ever; releasing more podcasts than we’ve ever done, a record number of reviews and news items on our website, and also giving away 189 prizes on our Twitter account which totalled many thousands of pounds.
Once again I’ve set a target of £276, which will help to keep our website and podcast online for a year. It is of course only for the hosting costs…everything else we do (writing news and reviews, prepping/recording and editing podcasts, keeping our social media updated, running competitions, etc), we do in our own time and for free…and it all takes a surprisingly long time.
2021 looks like it will be an even tougher year for everyone than 2020, and money is tight for everyone with far more worthy causes to donate to than us.
However, if we’ve helped you get through the previous 12 months (or since we began in 2014) in any way at all, then a donation will be very much appreciated to ensure we can continue to do what we do through 2021.
I have now also managed to drop the minimum donation down to £1 (it was previously £3), and every £1 will make a difference…if 5% of our Twitter followers donated £1 we’d be covered for the year.
Thank you for taking the time to read this…have a look at some of the news, reviews, podcasts while you’re here too.
