Review: Bad Biology 4K UHD
I can’t get my head around that fact that a film like Bad Biology has got a pristine 4K release, yet Near Dark is left in the abyss.
Does a film such as Bad Biology actually need a UHD release? Well that can only be answered by the film fan who wants to see a huge disembodied cock on the rampage. (So the answer to that is a big fat YES from me…Dave).
Made by Frank Henenlotter (Basket Case, Frankenhooker) it’s the story of photographer Jennifer, a woman who started her periods at 5, and evolved a ’hyperactive’ vagina, clitorises (that’s more than one clit by the way) and the ability to get pregnant and pop out a disformed sprog in 2 hours. She cruises the bars at night (not like Al Pacino) to find a willing fella to fuck – to death. If only she could find the man of her dreams…someone who can give her the intense sexual satisfaction she needs, and maybe some sort of portable incinerator for all the babies she keeps slipping into bins.
Enter Batz, the owner of an ex-vicarage where Jennifer is about to do a photoshoot (of rappers and women with vagina mask faces). Batz has a drug addicted cock (really) that is huge (yes, really), and when he uses it, the woman’s orgasm lasts for several hours.
This is film that is a typical sort of crappy early 80s horror (though it was made in 2008) and is full of naked, nubile, writhing women (when Batz’s cock goes off on its own to shag, it’s amazing how every single house it breaks into has a young, thin, gorgeous naked girl in it). It’s just plain silly, with god awful acting and is really offensive and mysogenistic, but it made me laugh out loud more than once and is so terrible, it’s almost endearing.
Bat shit crazy, and funny is a sort of EWWWW way.
NOT for the easily offended, so maybe don’t watch this if you’re under 30.
