Review: Innerspace 4K UHD
Innerspace (1987)

Director Joe Dante was on FIRE in the 80s making some of the best and most fun movies of the the modern era – Gremlins, and work of absolute genius – The ‘Burbs, couple him with producer Steven Spielberg and you get Innerspace, a sort of ‘lost’ film from that time.
Tuck Pendleton…what a name! (Dennis Quaid) is in love with journalist Lydia Maxwell (Meg Ryan), he drinks too much, and despite his cheeky charm, it looks like Lydia has had enough.
Tuck is part of a secret mission experiment and is going to be miniaturised and injected into the body of a rabbit. Just as this is about to happen a group of ‘Bad’ scientists break in the lab to steal the tech, the main scientist escapes with the now miniature Tuck in a syringe and by accident he gets injected into hypochondriac grocery clerk Jack Putter (Martin Short) and.. yep… chaos.
A lighthearted comedy/adventure movie that still holds up today.
