Tina’s Top 10 Television Series of 2017

You have now already seen my Top 10 of the big screen…haven’t you!? So here is my Top 10 of the smaller screen:

10: Glow (Netflix)

TanTASTIC 80’s throwback on ladies wrestling TV show Glow. It even had Dave watching wrestling! Nothing to do with nubile females in lycra…at least that’s what he said.

9: Three Girls (BBC 1)

Horrifying, harrowing and still not resolved. Brave filmmaking from Aunty Beeb.

8: Detectorists (BBC 4)

This magical comedy is a beautiful thing.

7: Blue Planet 2 (BBC 1)

Astounding.

6: Twin Peaks – The Return (SKY Atlantic)

I have absolutely NO fucking idea what the fuck happened, but ultimately unmissable. Big thanks has to go to Thom, who was my personal Twin Peaks wikipedia and helped me try to make sense of each episode.

5: Line of Duty (BBC 1)

Proof that the BBC have still got it.

4: Dark (Netflix)

Put your damn phone DOWN and WATCH this German Beauty.

3: Feud (BBC 2)

Glorious.

2: The Handmaids Tale (Hulu)

Horrific fairytale that will come true if men like Putin, Assad and Trump continue to stay in power the world over. (otherwise known as men hate women. Fact).

1: Game of Thrones (SKY Atlantic)

A soap opera with Dragons and Incest. Wonderful.

Honourable mentions: Ozark, Better Call Saul, The Crown, Coronation Street, Taboo, Peaky Blinders, The Last Leg, The Missing.
