Review: Fall (Blu-ray)
Blu-ray: Fall (2022)
Tina reviewed the cinema release of Fall earlier this year when Signature Entertainment kindly sent us a streaming link for it, so rather than repeat what she said (as we both love the movie), please take a few minutes to go and read her review.
This new blu-ray release (also from Signature Entertainment) looks and sounds fantastic, with a crisp picture that places you smack bang in the middle of everything and set my vertigo off even more than on my 1st viewing.
There is a choice of the original theatrical cut and also an uncut version too, which is mostly the reinstatement of the original dialogue that had to be changed because of all the swearing when filming was happening. The way that the dialogue is changed is part of a fascinating making of documentary that is one of the special features on this release and is well worth watching.
Also worth watching is the movie again, but this time with the commentary track by Producer/co-write/Director Scott Mann and Producer James Harris. Having spent some time chatting with Scott earlier this year about the movie (please see video below…and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to not miss out on any of our video content), I knew that this would be a lively, insightful and entertaining commentary…and I was definitely not disappointed.
I’m very happy that Fall now has a blu-ray release, and it is one that I can recommend for everyone to add to their collection.
